This weekend thePan American Jiu Jitsu tournament is taking place in Irvine, CA at UC Irvine. The week of Pans is kind of a holiday for Jiu Jitsu practitioners. De Boa Jiu Jitsu Academy looks forward to preparing for the next Pans, we will be bringing a solid team next year.
This year we will be represented by Purple Belt Tyson Antillon as he takes on one of the toughest divisions in the entire tournament. Tyson's Lightweight division has the top 60 competitors around the world all fighting for the top of the podium. We wish Tyson luck as he goes out and tests his skills, we know you will make us proud.
A little side bit of information is that the Academy is getting close to being opened. We recently ordered all the mats to be shipped, and the build out is largely completed. We are only waiting on some permits from the city of Surprise, it won't be much longer. We couldn't be more excited about the core group of students the academy will open its doors with. Come try out some free classes today!
