De Boa Jiu Jitsu started off with a bang! Our Grand Opening Celebration was a success, with 60 kids competing in our "Clean Slate" tournament, YaYa' Taco's selling out, a great seminar from Jesus and Gerson, Storm Troopers patrolling the parking lot, free massage's from Oss Arizona and a ton of support from the AZ Jiu Jitsu community!
As many of you know, the process of opening De Boa's doors has been a long, stressful time coming! We had plans of opening in January and here we are in May. We want to express our appreciation to our students who we now refer to as the "Garage Warriors" for their patience during the past several months. We are excited to start the next season of our journey!

Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday for the event, our referees, time keepers, and mat coordinators for volunteering your time and a huge congrats to our Team De Boa Kids who did awesome in the tournament!
We also want to give thanks to our parents who spent an exhausting day Friday trying to quickly put the academy together on short notice. We are very lucky to have such a great support system (family & friends).
